To Write With Love

Today I wrestled with the thought of how I love as a man. How it can’t be sold with actions but can be established in words. The words we give one another have a spiritual power that’s either sharp like venom or cleanses like water. When we grant people love with our words we are confirming what the mind and soul says. We unlock parts of self that are shadowed by silence and become vulnerable energies that bestow trust in others. Men sometimes have a hard time trusting their words as the things they say might be understood differently as there might be a disconnect between mind and soul. But what need to connect is how we let trust in through the eyes and ears of others, to be vulnerable and strong with our loved ones. Men, given the right opportunity, can develop peace in their time. To quench this insatiable manic urge to be someone who loves and can give it to everyone. Once this box is open, there is no going back to days of silence as you’ve outgrown yourself in the growing that took place. And that growth becomes who you will be for the rest of your days, and isn’t that a beautiful thing?
